Complete a multi-step safety inspection in VR to ensure technicians can do so successfully in the field
This module requires trainees to perform a multi-step appliance safety inspection prior to re-lighting and turning on customer owned appliances. The types of appliances include gas ranges, gas dryers, water heaters (on-demand, power vented, traditional), gas furnaces, and hot water boilers. Trainees are required to inspect the gas piping, shut-off valves, vent piping, combustion, boiler pressure, discharge pipe, safety valves, confined space for make-up air, etc. Upon final inspection, the trainee has to determine if the appliance is safe to relight or if they need to disconnect the appliance and leave the customer a Warning Correction Needed Tag.
